evolve: check that the evolved revisions are indeed in the repo during abort

Otherwise we might trigger an error while trying to access a revision that was
saved into evolvestate, but wasn't yet created in the repo for whatever reason.

Code logically equivalent to the following is used in Zsh to show the branch
and topic (if set) in the prompt. If the format of the files is changed in a
way that it breaks the test, a mail should be sent to [e-mail].
