merge: use repo.ui directly instead local variable
The non-standard 'u = repo.ui' shorthand was only used two times and
there were many other full references to repo.ui.

$ hg clone a b

$ echo '[paths]' >> .hg/hgrc
$ echo 'dupe = ../b' >> .hg/hgrc
