Find changesets by keywords (author, files, the commit message), revision number or hash, or revset expression.
clone: provide sample username = config entry in .hg/hgrc (issue4359) Some users clone from a server before ever running 'hg config --edit', so they don't see our helpful template for things like enabling the username. Attempt to give them some helpful guidance.

Mercurial
=========

Mercurial is a fast, easy to use, distributed revision control tool
for software developers.

Basic install:

 $ make            # see install targets
 $ make install    # do a system-wide install
 $ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
 $ hg              # see help

Running without installing:

 $ make local      # build for inplace usage
 $ ./hg --version  # should show the latest version
