tests: make custom templates that use {whyunstable} terser

These templates demonstrate that {whyunstable} is fully template-friendly, but
they don't need to produce such long lines of output.

  $ hg init
  $ echo a > a
  $ hg ci -Am0
  adding a

  $ hg -q clone . foo

  $ touch .hg/store/journal

  $ echo foo > a
  $ hg ci -Am0
  abort: abandoned transaction found!

Check that zero-size journals are correctly aborted:
