cmdutil.diffordiffstat: add support for diffs relative to a subdirectory
It's possible that some of the match patterns are outside the relative root. We
warn in that case. In upcoming patches we'll add tests for this.

Basic install:
$ make # see install targets
$ make install # do a system-wide install
$ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
$ hg # see help
Running without installing:
$ make local # build for inplace usage
$ ./hg --version # should show the latest version
