Find changesets by keywords (author, files, the commit message), revision number or hash, or revset expression.
obsmarker: crash more helpfully when metadata fields are >255bytes (issue5681) Various mutators fail when attempting to write obsmarkers with metadata fields longer than 255 bytes, since the length of mwetadata fields is stored in u8s. Mercurial

Mercurial is a fast, easy to use, distributed revision control tool
for software developers.

Basic install::

 $ make            # see install targets
 $ make install    # do a system-wide install
 $ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
 $ hg              # see help

Running without installing::

 $ make local      # build for inplace usage
 $ ./hg --version  # should show the latest version
