Find changesets by keywords (author, files, the commit message), revision number or hash, or revset expression.
obsolete: clarify that 'successorssets' returns the latest successors We do not return the first successors we found, we returns the latest (non obsolete (mostly)) one following the obsolete link transitively. We update the documentation to make this clean.

Mercurial
=========

Mercurial is a fast, easy to use, distributed revision control tool
for software developers.

Basic install:

 $ make            # see install targets
 $ make install    # do a system-wide install
 $ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
 $ hg              # see help

Running without installing:

 $ make local      # build for inplace usage
 $ ./hg --version  # should show the latest version
