Find changesets by keywords (author, files, the commit message), revision number or hash, or revset expression.
dirstate: avoid use of zip on big lists In a clean working directory containing 170,000 tracked files, this improves performance of "hg --time diff" from 1.69 seconds to 1.43. This idea is due to Siddharth Agarwal.

Mercurial
=========

Mercurial is a fast, easy to use, distributed revision control tool
for software developers.

Basic install:

 $ make            # see install targets
 $ make install    # do a system-wide install
 $ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
 $ hg              # see help

Running without installing:

 $ make local      # build for inplace usage
 $ ./hg --version  # should show the latest version
