run-tests: fix typo and print out failing line

Instead of stripping the newline and printing the line, only the newline was
printed.
The output on buildbot will make more sense now.

  $ hg init t
  $ cd t
  $ echo 1 > foo
  $ hg ci -Am m
  adding foo

  $ cd ..
  $ hg clone t tt
