journal: do not pass in repolookuperror string to template (BC)

This doesn't look like data, but a warning message.

  $ hg ci -Am0

  $ touch .hg/store/journal

  $ echo foo > a
  $ hg ci -Am0

Check that zero-size journals are correctly aborted:
