perf: define util.safehasattr forcibly for Mercurial earlier than 1.9.3 Before this patch, using util.safehasattr() prevents perf.py from being loaded by Mercurial earlier than 1.9.3 (or 94b200a11cf7), because util.safehasattr() isn't available in such Mercurial, even though there are some code paths for Mercurial earlier than 1.9.3. For example, setting "_prereadsize" attribute in perfindex() and perfnodelookup() is effective only with Mercurial earlier than 1.8 (or 61c9bc3da402). This patch is a preparation for using util.safehasattr() safely in subsequent patches. This patch defines util.safehasattr() forcibly without examining whether it is available or not, because: - examining existence of "safehasattr" safely itself needs similar logic - safehasattr() is small enough to define locally

Enable ui.formatted because pager won't fire without it, and set up
pager and tell it to use our fake pager that lets us see when the
pager was running.
  $ cat >> $HGRCPATH <<EOF
  > [ui]
  > formatted = yes
  > [extensions]
  > pager=
  > [pager]
  > pager = python $TESTTMP/fakepager.py

  $ cd repo
  $ echo a >> a
  $ hg add a
  $ hg ci -m 'add a'
  $ for x in `python $TESTDIR/seq.py 1 10`; do
  >   echo a $x >> a
  >   hg ci -m "modify a $x"
  > done

By default diff and log are paged, but summary is not:

  $ hg --config pager.attend-summary=yes summary

If 'log' is in attend, then 'history' should also be paged:
  $ hg history --limit 2 --config pager.attend=log
  paged! 'changeset:   10:46106edeeb38\n'

Possible bug: history is explicitly ignored in pager config, but
because log is in the attend list it still gets pager treatment.

  $ hg history --limit 2 --config pager.attend=log \

Possible bug: history is explicitly marked as attend-history=no, but
it doesn't fail to get paged because log is still in the attend list.

  $ hg history --limit 2 --config pager.attend-history=no
  paged! 'changeset:   10:46106edeeb38\n'

Possible bug: disabling pager for log but enabling it for history
doesn't result in history being paged.

  $ hg history --limit 2 --config pager.attend-log=no \

Pager works with shell aliases.

  $ cat >> $HGRCPATH <<EOF

  > echoa = !echo a

  $ hg echoa

  $ hg --config pager.attend-echoa=yes echoa

  $ cat >> $HGRCPATH <<'EOF'

  $ A=1 hg --config pager.attend-printa=yes printa

  $ cat >> $TESTTMP/fortytwo.py <<'EOF'

  > command = cmdutil.command(cmdtable)
  > @command('fortytwo', [], 'fortytwo', norepo=True)
