Find changesets by keywords (author, files, the commit message), revision number or hash, or revset expression.
changegroup: replace getchangegroup with makechangegroup As part of reducing the number of changegroup creation APIs, let's replace getchangegroup with calls to makechangegroup. This is mostly a drop in replacement, but it does change the version specifier to be required, so it's more obvious which callers are creating old version 1 changegroups still. Mercurial

Mercurial is a fast, easy to use, distributed revision control tool
for software developers.

Basic install::

 $ make            # see install targets
 $ make install    # do a system-wide install
 $ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
 $ hg              # see help

Running without installing::

 $ make local      # build for inplace usage
 $ ./hg --version  # should show the latest version
