py3: make py3 compat.iterbytestr simpler and faster With Python 3.4.3, timit says 11.9 usec-> 6.44 usec. With Python 3.6.0, timeit says 14.1 usec -> 9.55 usec.

Mercurial
=========

Mercurial is a fast, easy to use, distributed revision control tool
for software developers.

Basic install:

 $ make            # see install targets
 $ make install    # do a system-wide install
 $ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
 $ hg              # see help

Running without installing:

 $ make local      # build for inplace usage
 $ ./hg --version  # should show the latest version
