patch: write .rej files without rewriting EOLs Do not pass reject file content to patchfile.writelines() to: - Avoid line endings transformations - Avoid polluting overriding implementations with unrelated data. Create a repository:

  $ mkdir t
  $ cd t
  $ hg init

Make a changeset:

  $ echo a > a
  $ hg add a
  $ hg commit -m test

This command is ancient:

  $ hg history
  changeset:   0:acb14030fe0a
  tag:         tip
  user:        test

  summary:     test
  

Poke around at hashes:

  $ hg manifest --debug
