Find changesets by keywords (author, files, the commit message), revision number or hash, or revset expression.
builddeb: add --distid option to specify Distributor ID This allows builddeb to handle distributions that are not Debian. Distributor ID is reported by lsb_release --id, and in case of builddeb it's usually Debian or Ubuntu.

Mercurial
=========

Mercurial is a fast, easy to use, distributed revision control tool
for software developers.

Basic install:

 $ make            # see install targets
 $ make install    # do a system-wide install
 $ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
 $ hg              # see help

Running without installing:

 $ make local      # build for inplace usage
 $ ./hg --version  # should show the latest version
