Find changesets by keywords (author, files, the commit message), revision number or hash, or revset expression.
templatekw: add compatdict() as a replacement for showdict() This is mostly a copy of showdict(), which will be deprecated later. See the docstring for why it's called a "compat" dict. showenvvars() is ported to the new API as an example.

Mercurial
=========

Mercurial is a fast, easy to use, distributed revision control tool
for software developers.

Basic install::

 $ make            # see install targets
 $ make install    # do a system-wide install
 $ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
 $ hg              # see help

Running without installing::

 $ make local      # build for inplace usage
 $ ./hg --version  # should show the latest version
