crecord: convert an instance of bytes to str

Caught by pytype:

    File "/mnt/c/Users/Matt/hg/mercurial/crecord.py", line 1154, in printstring: Function _CursesWindow.addstr was called with the wrong arguments [wrong-arg-types]
             Expected: (self, str: str, ...)
      Actually passed: (self, str: bytes, ...)

a simple plain text format that's easy to read and edit:

It's also convertible to a variety of other formats including standard
UNIX man page format and HTML. You'll need to install Docutils:

Use the Makefile in this directory to generate the man and HTML pages.
