Find changesets by keywords (author, files, the commit message), revision number or hash, or revset expression.
py3: adjust expected traceback in test-hook.t In Python 3, traceback.format_exception() displays the chain of exceptions so we get extra results from our grep. Also, ModuleNotFoundError is raised instead of ImportError from Python 3.6.

Mercurial
=========

Mercurial is a fast, easy to use, distributed revision control tool
for software developers.

Basic install::

 $ make            # see install targets
 $ make install    # do a system-wide install
 $ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
 $ hg              # see help

Running without installing::

 $ make local      # build for inplace usage
 $ ./hg --version  # should show the latest version
