Often, due to network or other issues, it could be fast for the most time, and suddenly slow down: [====================================================> ] \___________________________________________/\______/ very fast suddenly much slower This patch adds a test demonstrating the ETA could be way off in those cases. Mercurial is a fast, easy to use, distributed revision control tool

Basic install::

 $ make            # see install targets
 $ make install    # do a system-wide install
 $ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
 $ hg              # see help

Running without installing::

 $ make local      # build for inplace usage
 $ ./hg --version  # should show the latest version
