lint: fix failing code check

8d2b62d716b0 introduced code that `test-check-code.t` wasn't happy about, this
fixes it.

  $ hg init
  $ mkdir a
  $ echo a > a/b
  $ hg ci -Am m
  adding a/b

  $ hg rm a
  removing a/b
  $ hg ci -m m a
