Find changesets by keywords (author, files, the commit message), revision number or hash, or revset expression.
py3: encode JSON str to bytes json.dumps() will emit UTF-8 str on Python 2 and 3. Use sysbytes to force the .encode('utf-8') on Python 3 and no-op on Python 2. Differential Revision: https://phab.mercurial-scm.org/D4965

Mercurial
=========

Mercurial is a fast, easy to use, distributed revision control tool
for software developers.

Basic install::

 $ make            # see install targets
 $ make install    # do a system-wide install
 $ hg debuginstall # sanity-check setup
 $ hg              # see help

Running without installing::

 $ make local      # build for inplace usage
 $ ./hg --version  # should show the latest version
