The missing 'cd ..' could always be added when another test case is added to the test file. This change do that tests (99.5%) consistently end up in $TESTDIR where they started, thus making it simpler to extend them or move them around.

Add 'cd ..' where they are missing so the tests get back where they started.

The hashes are checked throughout the file, so there was no elegant way to make it pass both with and without execbits. We now rollback the execbits-or-not commits and make a stable change instead. The hash chain is thus updated once but is now a bit more stable. The test coverage should be unaltered.
